Weekend: March18 - Present
I just wanted to thank everyone for being so hospitable this weekend. It warms my heart for people to care, which i guess couldn't happen until we cared as much as we do now. It was a good weekend, despite two parties' worth of cop-break-up-age. We wish that Model Citizen had been able to play and knock us out of the water, but hopefully there'll be some shows coming up featuring both bands. We have our fingers crossed. Saturday night's show went surprisingly well, despite a near collapse from fatigue, salvaged from the brink by a mandatory lying down on the part of I, Jason W. Grover. the boys and I were happy to play with Abby Go-Go, who were really nice kids, Little Pieces of Me, who we didn't get to talk to, and BAT, who i was glad to finally see. We hope to have more shows with everyone involved, and not get as ignorantly drunk as I did afterwards too often anymore. Of Note was Abby Go-Go, because i had yet to hear them, and they played a stellar set after only having been together a month or less. A few people have asked about MP3s/a Demo, and we do have a demo, but it's inexplicably trapped on Miles' computer until he gets his burner fixed, but our myspace account should have 3 songs up shortly. This is a test, and if you feel like i'm hitting on you to listen some more, then i'm not. I just wanted to thank everyone involved for treating us to such a wonderful weekend, in spite of the setbacks early on. Vaya Con Dios, el Faggot | | Friday, March 18th, 2005 | | 12:08 am |
So it begins
Hey, we're the goodnight nobodies. you may have been added to our new special re-spirited le vitra mysace today, and invited to love on us. this newfangled livejournal account is not to be like "hey remember us?" but just because i thought "hey, remember my band?" and then i said "yeah! yeah i do!" so these are our outreach programs. when we're listening to music, we're all friends. so add us, or don't, i don't care. this is for the news. sometimes we have news, like now. we're playing a show at cave9 in birmingham with BAT, Little Pieces of Me, and Abby Go Go, after a layover in tuscaloosa friday night. hope to see you at one or both. |
